Dear members and colleagues;
As your AIPC President, I am pleased to be inviting you and your key centre staff to join us for an exhilarating experience at our 2019 Annual Conference and General Assembly in historic Antwerp, Belgium. As I’m sure most of you know, the Flanders Conference Centre in historic is no ordinary venue – and we will be taking full advantage of our very unique surroundings to create an education and insight-filled event there from June 23-26 of 2019.
Once again, we are utilizing the wide diversity of facilities to be found in AIPC’s global membership to create a most relevant backdrop for our ongoing exploration of what centres today can and must do to remain competitive in the hearts of both clients and their respective communities! And while the “Room with a ZOO” is in something of a class by itself, the lessons it offers apply in many ways to the kind of adaptive thinking we all must do to address the rapidly changing needs and expectations of our customers and their delegates.
In fact, this kind of adaptive thinking will be theme around which we build our entire program - and we will as usual have a wide range of both industry colleagues and global thinkers to help us better understand what this might mean in our respective circumstances. Everyone will come away with fresh ideas and strategies for growing competitiveness – and the contacts and resources you’ll need to apply these.
The clarity, focus and exclusivity of this annual event sets it aside from the many other engagements we all have in our busy lives – and pay off in the form of highly relevant and beneficial interactions that reward us all throughout the year. Make your plans now to attend – and follow program development to determine which of your staff could best benefit from the content we are assembling.
I look forward to sharing e new kind of an experience with you in Antwerp!
